Färgfabriken Norr

After waiting 80 years Östersund will have a contemporary art venue.

And not just any art space. Färgfabriken Norr will be a driving force in society just as much as it will be a leading international art space. Färgfabriken Norr will be a lab and a local experimental workshop, in which Östersund is highlighted against global surroundings. Färgfabriken Norr will be a continuously ongoing investigation. Of how Östersund can become a node to the west, east and north. Of the consequences of the 21st century for a small city in Norrland's interior. Of how art and creativity can be developed as a driving force for society. Färgfabriken Norr is a local hub ofnational and international interest.

Färgfabriken Norr opens with three major events, of which this conference is one.
